EVERYONE is a cook!

Send us a quick video (maximum 3 minutes) featuring the ingredients and prep of a simple and tasty family recipe.

Contest rules:

1. The recipe should:
   • Be easy to prepare
   • Feature easy-to-find ingredients
   • Need less special processing
   • Require minimal ingredients
   • Be healthy
2. Professional cooks, chefs and bakers are not allowed to participate
3. Only one entry per contestant
4. All entries will be uploaded on YouTube
5. Please register your name before January 31, 2021 by filling the form below
6. Please send in your entries to mmac_cookoff@malayalimuslims.ca before February 08 ,2021
7. Recording Guidelines – Will be displayed once registered and will also be send to the email provided
8. Participants must be residing in CANADA.

Please note:
To get more views, videos are expected to be submitted well before the deadline.

A ‘Meet Your Cook’ live zoom session will be held at the end of the contest. Community members will get a chance to ask questions and get tips and tricks on your recipes.

Evaluation:
The recipe will be scored on a 1-100 scale.

• The score is broken down as below:
  • Meet contest conditions- 50
  • Presentation- 10
  • Answer questions on the live zoom session- 20
  • YouTube (views, comments, likes)- 20
