Who We Are
Malayali Muslim Association of Canada (MMAC) is a registered non-profit which serves the Muslim diaspora from the south Indian state of Kerala.
MMAC is a one-stop shop for everything related to newcomer settlement, professional development, community events, youth empowerment, charity and fundraising and all other needs of the Malayali Muslim community in Canada.

VISION & MISSION
Malayali Muslim Association Canada (“MMAC”) shall be an organization that provides for the cultural, social, religious, academic, and recreational needs of individuals and families of Malayali Muslim ethnic community of Kerala state in India residing in Canada.
MMAC will cater to varying needs within the Malayali Muslim community through promoting social awareness, religious/spiritual endeavours, encouraging community engagement, fostering a sense of inclusivity, empowering, and advancing opportunities, thereby making positive contributions to wider Canadian community.
OBJECTIVES
- Acting as a non-political, non-partisan and non-profit organization that builds a cohesive and unified community of Malayali Muslims.
- Hosting organized athletic, artistic, recreational, educational, social, charitable, and other relevant need-based community endeavors through events, campaigns, and advocacy work.
- Providing awareness of contemporary, civic, economic, social, and cultural issues affecting the lives of Malayali Muslims in Canada.
- Specifically focusing on initiatives catered to supporting newcomers to Canada as well as organizing programming geared towards empowering youth within the community through capacity building.
